🚚 How does the doorstep refill service work?

It’s simple:

  1. Order online before your area’s cut-off date.

  2. Leave your empty, clean containers outside on delivery day.

  3. We refill them and leave them neatly back in place.

No subscriptions. No delivery fees. No new packaging.

📍 How often do you deliver to my area?

We operate on a rotating monthly schedule. Each area is visited once per month on a set week (e.g. Route 2 on 2nd Monday, Route 3 on 3rd Monday, etc.).

You can check your postcode and upcoming delivery date here.

We also deliver to central Cambridge, get in touch to see which of our routes you are on.

⏰ When do orders close?

Orders close at midday the day before your delivery day (Sunday at 1200pm)  to allow time for stock preparation and route planning.

💷 Is there a minimum order?

The minimum order value is £5 to keep deliveries sustainable and viable.

🫙 Do I need special containers?

No. You can use your own jars, bottles, tubs or containers — just make sure they are:​ Clean, Dry & Clearly Labelled with what you’d like refilled.

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to advise.

🧼 What if my containers aren’t clean?

For food safety reasons, we can only refill clean, dry containers. If a container isn’t suitable, we’ll leave a note, give you a refund, and try again next month. 

For non-food containers, this isn't really an issue. Using empty containers can help you better judge the weight/volume you need but isn't essential.

🏠 What if I’m not home?

That’s absolutely fine. Simply leave your containers in a safe, accessible place and include any instructions at checkout.

We’ll refill them and leave them ready for you to bring back inside.

📦 How can I keep my products safe on my doorstep?

  • Choose a discreet, sheltered spot & ensure to include precise instructions at checkout.

  • Bring items inside promptly. We recommend retrieving your refill as soon as you’re home to minimize time outside.

  • Consider a secure lockbox. Investing in a small, outdoor lockbox can add an extra layer of protection and peace of mind.

  • Use a weatherproof container. We offer durable, weatherproof delivery boxes for a refundable deposit if you’d prefer a ready-made solution.

If you’re unsure about the best setup for your home, we are always happy to help you find a safe and practical option.

📦 What products do you offer?

We stock a wide range of:

  • Dried foods (pasta, rice, lentils, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices)

  • Oils (Olive Oil, Rapeseed Oil)

  • Household refills (washing-up liquid, laundry liquid, cleaning products)

  • Personal care refills (Moisturiser, shampoo, conditioner, deodorants, soap)

  • Pick & mix and snacks

  • Organic staples

  • Locally made goods

🌱 Where do you source your products?

We work with large UK organic wholesalers as well as local producers and independent makers. Supporting ethical supply chains and small businesses is central to what we do.

🌱 Are all your products organic?

We source organic where possible but for certain products, organics are trickier to source. If a product is organic it will clearly state it on the product page or label.

🛍 Can I shop with you in person?

Yes! Alongside doorstep deliveries, we trade at:

  • Local markets

  • Business and science parks

  • Pop-up community locations

Our weekly schedule is published online and updated regularly. 

We keep our Instagram, Facebook, and Mailing List updated with any special events we do.

💳 How do I pay?

All doorstep orders are placed and paid for online in advance.
At markets and pop-ups, we accept card payments.

❓ What if you don’t deliver to my area yet?

You can register your interest on our website. If enough people in an area request delivery, we’ll look at adding it to the rotation.

Unfortunately we are limited by the range of our electric van and the maximum distance we can travel from Cambridge is ~20 miles.
